Every price on this site is a range, and this page explains why, where the ranges come from, and how a figure earns its place on a page. If you ever find a price here that does not match the board at your store, tell us through the contact page and we will recheck it.
Why prices are ranges, not single figures
Tim Hortons does not run one national price list in Canada. Each restaurant sets its board from a pricing group, and the company has described 62 of these price clusters in a Quebec court filing. Two stores in the same city can charge a few cents apart, and a store in Alberta can sit above or below a store in Ontario on the same item. Taxes differ by province as well, from 5 percent GST in Alberta to 13 percent HST in Ontario and a combined GST and QST in Quebec.
A single printed price would be wrong for most readers, so every item on this site carries a band: the lowest and highest in store figures our checks found for that item. The band is the honest answer to “how much is it” in Canada.
How a price gets checked
A price band goes on a page only after it agrees across at least two independent Canadian sources. Those sources are in store menu boards, the official Tim Hortons app listings for Canadian stores, and printed or published store menus. Delivery apps are used only as supporting evidence, never as the figure we print, because delivery menus carry a markup over the counter price.
Calories and nutrition never come from another menu site. They are transcribed from one document only, the official Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, July 2026, and the allergen marks come from the matching official Allergen Guide. Where the guide prints no row for an item, the page says the figure is not published instead of estimating one.
Checked dates and rechecks
Each menu page states the date its prices were last checked. Pages are rechecked on a rolling basis, and seasonal pages are checked again when a run starts and when it ends. When a recheck moves a figure, the band and the date change together, so a reader can always see how fresh a price is.
Some figures carry the label SPOTTED. That means the price rests on a single sighting, such as an in store shelf tag reported in Canadian news coverage, rather than the usual two source check. The label stays until a second source confirms the figure.
What we never do
We never copy a price, a calorie count or a sentence from another menu website. Rival sites disagree with each other often enough that copying would import their errors, and some of their figures contradict the official guide outright. We never print a per store or per province price we cannot support, and we never present a delivery price as the in store price.
Corrections
Prices change, and a band that was right in one month can drift in the next. If a figure here looks wrong against the board at your store, send the item, the store’s city and the price you saw through the contact page. Corrections go to the front of the recheck queue.
