Tim Hortons Muffins Menu in Canada

Tim Hortons muffins

Tim Hortons muffins are the heavy end of the bakery case: six flavours in the official guide, every one between 340 and 420 calories, which puts a single muffin level with a full breakfast sandwich. Four flavours share one price everywhere this page checked. The Fruit Explosion and the Carrot Cake Walnut sit a step above. The real choice in the case is not the price, it is the sugar and fibre each flavour carries, and those two numbers swing a lot from muffin to muffin.

Prices are shown as ranges on purpose. Tim Hortons does not charge one national price, so what you pay depends on the restaurant. The ranges below were cross-checked against at least two independent Canadian sources for the Baked Goods hub on October 28, 2026, and the sources sit in the research file behind this page. Calories come from one source only, the official Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, July 2026. The bagels, cookies, croissants and the rest of the case sit on the Baked Goods hub; this page is the muffins on their own.

The muffins

Prices are ranges checked on October 28, 2026, because Tim Hortons prices vary by restaurant. Calories come from the official Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, July 2026.

Two price points run the whole case. The standard four (Chocolate Chip, Wild Blueberry, Raisin Bran and Banana Pecan) sit at $2.29 to $2.39. The Fruit Explosion runs $2.59 to $2.69, and the Carrot Cake Walnut sits at a flat $2.59 at every source checked.

The Chocolate Chip is the heavyweight: 420 calories and 36 grams of sugar, the most sugar of any muffin here. The Wild Blueberry is the standard case flavour at 380 calories. The Raisin Bran is the steady fibre pick at 5 grams of fibre. The Banana Pecan is the odd one out in three ways at once: the lightest muffin in the guide at 340 calories, the most fibre of anything in the case at 9 grams, and the saltiest muffin here at 790 mg of sodium, which surprises most people who order it as the healthy pick.

Two naming notes keep this table honest. The guide lists the banana muffin as the Banana Pecan Muffin, while store menus and most other sites sell the same 340 calorie muffin as the Whole Grain Pecan Banana Bread Muffin. The carrot muffin is the Carrot Cake Walnut Muffin in the guide and the Carrot Cake with Walnut Muffin on most menus. The figures are the guide’s either way.

A box of six, and the flavours with no guide row

For an office or a house full of people, six assorted muffins run $10.49 to $10.99 at the sources checked for this page, against about $13.74 to $14.34 for six standard muffins bought one at a time. The guide prints no box row, so the box carries no calorie figure here. Some other sites print box totals of 2,520 or 5,040 calories; those numbers are not in the official guide and are not used on this page.

Seasonal and short-run flavours rotate through the case. Pumpkin Spice shows up in the fall, and other sites list a Strawberry Cheesecake Filled muffin and a Lemon Poppyseed Cheesecake muffin. None of them has a row in the current Canadian guide, so no official price or calorie figure can be given for them here, and they are named only so you know why they are missing from the table.

One more thing worth knowing about the case: the muffins are not mixed and baked from scratch in the store. Since 2003, Tim Hortons has par baked its baked goods at a plant in Brantford, Ontario, then flash frozen and shipped them to each restaurant, where staff finish them in the store’s ovens. That system covers the whole bakery case, which is why a muffin in Halifax and a muffin in Winnipeg come out of the oven much the same.

More from the bakery case

The muffins are one shelf of a bigger case. The full run of bagels, cookies, croissants, tea biscuits and pastries sits with the muffins on the Baked Goods hub, and the bagels have their own page at Bagels. For the whole menu in one place, see the Full Menu, and for every item’s price side by side, the Prices page. Full nutrition for all 346 items in the official guide is on the Nutrition Facts page, and allergen detail for every muffin, including the walnut and pecan flavours, is on the Allergens page.

FAQs

Yes. Six muffins sit in the official Canadian guide: Chocolate Chip, Fruit Explosion, Wild Blueberry, Raisin Bran, Carrot Cake Walnut and Banana Pecan. Seasonal flavours such as Pumpkin Spice rotate through the case, but they carry no row in the current guide, so this page prints no official price or calorie figure for them.

Two price points run the case. The Chocolate Chip, Wild Blueberry, Raisin Bran and Banana Pecan muffins run $2.29 to $2.39 each. The Fruit Explosion runs $2.59 to $2.69, and the Carrot Cake Walnut sits at a flat $2.59. Prices are shown as ranges because Tim Hortons does not charge one national price; what you pay depends on the restaurant.

In the official guide the six muffins run from 340 to 420 calories. The Banana Pecan is the lightest at 340, the Fruit Explosion and Carrot Cake Walnut sit at 360, the Wild Blueberry and Raisin Bran at 380, and the Chocolate Chip is the heaviest at 420.

420 calories, the most of the six muffins in the official guide. It also carries the most sugar at 36 grams, with 2 grams of fibre and 400 mg of sodium, and it runs $2.29 to $2.39.

On the guide’s numbers, the Banana Pecan makes the strongest case: the fewest calories at 340, the least sugar at 20 grams and the most fibre at 9 grams. The trade-off is sodium: at 790 mg it is the saltiest muffin in the case. The Raisin Bran is the other fibre pick, at 5 grams of fibre and 380 calories.

The Banana Pecan, at 9 grams of fibre in the official guide, the most of anything in the baked case. The Raisin Bran is next at 5 grams. The other four muffins carry 2 grams each.

Two of the six are nut flavours by name: the Carrot Cake Walnut and the Banana Pecan. The nutrition guide prints no allergen columns, so the full muffin allergen detail, including what each flavour contains and may contain, is on the Allergens page.

The official nutrition guide does not print ingredient or allergen detail, so milk cannot be confirmed either way from the guide itself. The allergen detail for every muffin is on the Allergens page, and the counter staff can check the official allergen guide before you order.

Six assorted muffins run $10.49 to $10.99 at the sources checked for this page, against about $13.74 to $14.34 for six standard muffins bought one at a time. The official guide prints no row for the box, so there is no official calorie figure for it, and the box totals printed on some other sites are not used here.
