Tim Hortons cold brew is the slow one. The coffee steeps in cold water for 16 hours before it reaches your cup, and that long, cold steep is why it tastes smoother than iced coffee. This page covers every Tim Hortons cold brew sold in Canada: the Original, the Vanilla Cream, the straight Black, and the cold foam and seasonal cups that rotate through the year. Prices and calories come from the live menu cards and from the official nutrition guide. Anything the guide does not publish is marked that way here instead of being filled in.

Every cold brew on the menu
Seven drinks sit in this group. The Original Cold Brew and the Vanilla Cream Cold Brew run all year in Small, Medium and Large. The Black Cold Brew is the same cold-steeped coffee with nothing added, priced on the same band as the Original; its calories are not published in the official guide, so the card says so. Roasted Hazelnut and Toasted Marshmallow are Medium and Large builds topped with espresso cold foam, and the foam flavours rotate. Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew is a seasonal cup. The Chocolate Pistachio Cold Brew is priced by each store, and its calories are not published either.
Cold BrewBlack Cold Brew
The cold brew with nothing added. No calorie figure has been published for the black build, so this card shows the Original Cold Brew prices with calories not published.
Cold BrewChocolate Pistachio Cold Brew
The cold brew in a chocolate pistachio build. It has no row in the official guide, so its price and calories are not published.
Cold BrewOriginal Cold Brew
Steeped cold, so it tastes smooth and a bit sweet on its own.
Cold BrewPumpkin Spice Cold Brew
The cold brew in the fall pumpkin spice build. It has no row in the official guide, so its price and calories are not published.
Cold BrewRoasted Hazelnut Cold Brew
The cold foam build with espresso foam, sold in Medium and Large only. The small is not offered.
Cold BrewToasted Marshmallow Cold Brew
The rotating cold foam cup. When it rotates in, it runs on the same two prices as the Roasted Hazelnut cup. No calories are printed for it.
Cold BrewVanilla Cream Cold Brew
Cold brew finished with vanilla cream.
Prices are ranges checked on October 27, 2026, because Tim Hortons prices vary by restaurant. Calories come from the official Tim Hortons Nutrition Guide, Canadian Edition, July 2026. The Black, Chocolate Pistachio and Pumpkin Spice builds have no row in that guide; the Black card shows the Original Cold Brew prices, because no calorie figure has been published for the black build.
Cold brew and iced coffee in the official guide
The official nutrition guide (July 2026) prints calorie rows for three of the cold brews above and for both iced coffees. Cup sizes in the guide: Small 286 mL, Medium 425 mL, Large 539 mL.

- Roasted Hazelnut Cold Brew is sold in Medium and Large only, so the Small cell follows the menu. The guide also prints a Small row for it (180 calories); the drink is not sold in that size.
- The guide has no row for the Black Cold Brew, the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew or the Chocolate Pistachio Cold Brew, so their calories stay “Not published” on this site.
- Light Iced Coffee has a guide row but no card on this page. Its card, with prices, sits on the Cold Drinks hub.
- Prices for the cold brews are on the cards above. The full drink price list is on the Prices page.
Steeped cold for 16 hours
Cold brew is never brewed hot. Tim Hortons steeps 100 per cent responsibly sourced premium Arabica beans in cold water for 16 hours, then serves the coffee over ice. The slow steep pulls the flavour out gently, which is why the cup tastes smooth and rich without the sharp edge of a hot brew poured over ice. The Vanilla Cream Cold Brew is made with 100 per cent Canadian dairy and pours sweet and creamy.
Cold brew or iced coffee?
The two drinks start in different places. Iced coffee is the classic Tim Hortons brewed coffee, chilled and served on ice. Cold brew starts cold and stays cold, steeping for 16 hours before it is poured. In the official guide the standard builds tie on calories: an Original Cold Brew and an Original Iced Coffee both run 120, 150 and 240 calories by size. Pick cold brew for the smoother taste, iced coffee for the familiar one. For the blended frozen option, see the Iced Capp page.
Caffeine, stated plainly
Tim Hortons has not published caffeine figures for cold brew. The drink is not in the company’s published caffeine figures, and the current nutrition guide has no caffeine column for any drink. Some websites print exact numbers for it anyway — 130, 170 and 285 milligrams by size on one site, 430 milligrams for a Large on another. Those numbers disagree with each other and none of them comes from the company, so this page prints none. The figures Tim Hortons has published, for its brewed coffees, espresso drinks and Iced Capp, are gathered on the Caffeine Guide. Health Canada’s limit for healthy adults is 400 milligrams of caffeine a day.
Order it your way
A cold brew takes the same builds as a hot coffee. Tim Hortons’ own launch note puts it plainly: you can order a Cold Brew however you prefer your coffee, and yes, that includes a Double Double Cold Brew. The Vanilla Cream is the sweet, creamy build, made with Canadian dairy. A cold brew also redeems for 140 Tims Rewards points in the app.
