Saving money at Timmies works differently than most people expect. There is no public coupon list for Canada, and there never really is one, because the offers inside the Tim Hortons app are built for your account from what you order. Two people standing in the same line can hold two different sets of offers. Any site that prints a fixed list of this week’s Tim Hortons deals is showing you one person’s account, or worse, offers that ended months ago.
What is public, and what this page covers, is the part that applies to everyone. Tims Rewards pays you back in points on every order, and the points buy free coffee, donuts and meals at set levels. On top of that, Tim Hortons Canada runs the same big national promotions each year on a rough calendar: Roll Up To Win in late winter, Smile Cookie in spring, Camp Day in summer, hockey cards and the app hockey game in fall, and a rotating seasonal menu that changes with the seasons. The current seasonal feature is the Harry Potter menu, covered on its own page.

Tims Rewards: the deal that runs all year
Tims Rewards is the standing deal at Tim Hortons, and it is free. You earn 10 points for every $1 you spend before tax, in restaurant, at the drive thru or in the app, as long as you scan your card or app when you order. Points land in your account within 24 hours. You spend them from a fixed ladder, and the same ladder applies across Canada.
| Points | What the points buy |
|---|---|
| 300 | Hash browns, a donut or a cookie |
| 400 | Brewed coffee or steeped tea, any size |
| 600 | Hot chocolate, a French Vanilla, iced coffee or potato wedges |
| 800 | Espresso drinks, cold brew, an Iced Capp, Quenchers, frozen drinks or a box of Timbits |
| 1,100 | Breakfast sandwiches or soup |
| 1,300 | A Farmer’s Wrap, a Bagel BELT, lunch sandwiches or chili |
| 1,800 | Loaded bowls, loaded wraps or a flatbread pizza |
The 400 point level is the one to know. A brewed coffee costs the same 400 points in every size, so the points go furthest on a large or extra large cup. Three rules shape how the ladder works in practice. Your card has to be registered before you can redeem. You can redeem one reward item at a time, and there is a 30 minute wait between redemption orders. Points cannot pay for part of an item and cash the rest; a reward has to cover the item in full.
Points do expire. Each batch of points expires 12 months after the month you earned it, and using your account does not extend the date. The app shows your balance and what is closing in on expiry, so a quick check every few months keeps points from lapsing unused.
App offers: weekly, personal and yours only
The offers tab in the Tim Hortons app is where the weekly Tim Hortons deals live, and it is personal by design. Tim Hortons’ own app store listing describes them as personalised offers that you activate before you order, and that is exactly how they behave. The set is built from your order history, it refreshes on a weekly cycle, and offers carry their own end dates. Your set will not match the set on your neighbour’s phone, and neither set is published on any website, including this one.
That is why this page does not print a list of current app offers with prices. A list like that cannot be true for every reader, and the coupon sites that print one are copying a single account or recycling old offers. What you can rely on is the pattern: expect a rotating mix of drink offers, food offers and bonus points offers, activated in the app before the order is placed. If an offer matters to you, check its end date in the app, because an expired offer does not come back.

Two more ways members save
Members also get a birthday offer. Add your date of birth to your account at least 7 days before your birthday, and scan for Tims Rewards at least once in the year before it, and a free treat offer lands in your account two days before your birthday, ready to use at a participating restaurant on the day. The official help page sets out both conditions, and the 7 day rule is the one that catches people out.
Since September 2026, Tims Rewards also links with Triangle Rewards. Link the two accounts and scanning your Tims Rewards barcode earns 2% back in CT Money. Pay with a Triangle credit card and that rises by a further 2%, and pay by Scan & Pay in the app with that card and it reaches up to 5% back in total. A few things sit outside the partnership, including catering orders, Smile Cookies, bottled drinks and merchandise, and the CT Money you earn at Timmies spends at Canadian Tire family stores, not at the coffee counter.
How to check today’s offers
- Open the Tim Hortons app and tap the offers tab. That list, and only that list, is your current set.
- Activate the offer before you order. Most app offers do nothing until they are switched on.
- Check the official offers page on timhortons.ca for national promotions that apply to everyone.
- Look at the menu board and counter cards in restaurant. Local and national promotions both show there.
- Use the calendar below for the big dated events, so you know what is coming and when.
The promotions Tim Hortons runs each year
Roll Up To Win

The biggest promotion of the year ran from February 23 to March 22, 2026, in its 40th year. The physical rim roll came back on hot beverage cups while supplies lasted, next to digital Rolls in the app, and Tim Hortons has said the cup roll stays part of future contests. The 2026 contest carried more than 30 million prizes, including seven 2025 Volkswagen ID. Buzz vehicles and more than 17 million coffees and 8 million donuts. In the app, each eligible item earned a digital Roll, app orders doubled it, a reusable cup earned a bonus Roll, and Tims at Home purchases earned three.
Smile Cookie
Smile Cookie week ran from April 27 to May 3, 2026, the campaign’s 30th year. Every Smile Cookie sold sends 100% of its price to a local charity or community group chosen by the restaurant owners, close to 700 groups across Canada in 2026. The campaign has raised more than $150 million since it began in 1996, and the 2025 week alone raised $22.6 million.
Camp Day
Camp Day fell on July 15, 2026. On that one day, 100% of the price of every hot coffee and iced coffee sold went to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which run development programs for young people from underserved communities. Guests could also buy a Camp Day donut or a donation badge for $2, or a bracelet for $3, with the proceeds going the same way. Camp Day has run across Canada since 1991 and has raised more than $275 million; the 2025 day raised $13 million.
Hockey season: cards and the app game
Fall belongs to hockey. The 2026-27 NHL trading card set went on sale September 29, 2026 at participating restaurants: a pack costs $1.50 with an eligible beverage or $1.99 on its own, and the collectible binder and the new Zamboni shaped card holder cost $19.99 each. Trade Nights run at select restaurants on October 29 and November 5, 2026. In the app, the Tims NHL Hockey Challenge runs through the season: pick three players each game day, earn points when they score, and play for monthly gift card prizes and a Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid grand prize.
Short restaurant promotions
Between the big events, shorter offers run for a few weeks at a time, in the app, in restaurant, or both. As one dated example, a Monday offer through the summer of 2026 gave two small or medium Original Iced Capps for $6 at participating restaurants, from June 8 to July 27, 2026. Offers like this are real while they run and gone when they end, which is why this page dates every example it prints.
Seasonal menus: what is on now
Seasonal menus are the other half of this hub. A handful of times a year, Tim Hortons Canada adds a short menu built around a season or an event, sells it for a limited run, and then rotates it out. The items do not join the regular menu, prices and nutrition for them are often published late or not at all, and each one gets its own page here once Tim Hortons confirms the details.
The current seasonal feature is the Tim Hortons Harry Potter menu, which launched across Canada on August 12, 2026 for Back to Hogwarts season. It brings four Hogwarts house donuts, Golden Snitch Caramel Timbits, two Quenchers and a small set of collectibles. Tim Hortons has not announced an end date. Item by item detail, the spotted prices and the full question set sit on the Harry Potter page itself; this hub only points you there so the two pages never tell the story twice.
The rest of the seasonal year follows the calendar above. Late winter is Roll Up To Win. Spring carries Smile Cookie. Summer brings Camp Day and warm weather drinks. Fall opens hockey season with the card set and the app game. The holiday menu closes the year; as of October 28, 2026, Tim Hortons has not announced the 2026 holiday lineup, and this section will link it when the official word lands.
